Tatiana Nikolayevna Dokukina is a senior instructor of historical dance at the Bolshoi Ballet Academy, where she has been on the faculty since 1989.
Mrs. Dokukina was born in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia. She graduated from the Pushkin Theatre ballet school and then received a master's degree and certification in ballroom dance instruction from the University of the Arts in Moscow. Subsequent to this, she received master's degrees and certifications as a ballet master and instructor of historical and contemporary dance from the State Institute of Theatre Arts (GITIS).
For more than 15 years, Mrs. Dokukina has taught historical dance at the Bolshoi Ballet Academy, where she has been appointed docent and has served as assistant head of the Department of Academic Dance. Mrs. Dokukina also teaches ballroom and court dances at her private school attached to the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts and at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations. |
