Susan Schneider is a leading physician and medical researcher with one of the world's leading biotechnology firms. In addition to her medical and scientific degrees and honors, she also holds a fine arts degree from one of the nation's most prestigious institutions of higher learning and is a former professional ballet dancer who had a long and successful career performing with, choreographing for, and directing both national and international dance companies.

Dr. Schneider continues to be both an important contributor and participant in the world of the performing arts, having been active with several of America's leading dance companies and cultural institutions.

In addition to serving on the Foundation's Board of Directors, Dr. Schneider also is called upon to advise Apogee's officers on medical, visual and dance subjects.
