Angela Russo, A Program Coordinator and Certified Credit Counselor for a Micro Loan Program at WomenRising, Inc. located in Jersey City, New Jersey. As coordinator, she instructs financial education classes, provides budget and credit counseling, and spearheads the programs overall development.

Ms. Russo previously served as a program manager for The Professional Development Institute, located at Rutgers University, where she assisted in the administration of programs focused on leadership development and continued education for planning and public policy professionals. She also served as a Database and Housing Associate for The Office of The Bronx Borough President, Adolfo Carrion Jr. where she assisted in the development of the borough's 2007 Housing Report titled, "Market Approaches to Affordable Housing."

The heart of Angela's academic and professional career is focused on strengthening communities by promoting its resident's self-sufficiency via education and advocacy. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban Studies with a concentration in Housing and Community
Development from Rutgers University.
