Yuri Sidorov has received Apogee Foundation Achievement Awards for Excellence in Education in each of the 1999/2000, 2000/2001 and 2004/2005 academic years, including the inaugural Yoel Plakht Honorarium for Excellence in Education as the premier instructor of male technique in Perm, carrying on the traditions of his own legendary teacher, Yoel Plakht.
