Wang Xiao

Wang Xiao was one of the first three musicians named as Apogee Merit Scholars in China.
Born in 1994 in Tianshui Gan Su, China, Wang learned to play the Er Hu from her father from the age of five, and in 2003 at the age of nine was invited to continue her studies in Beijing with Zhu Jiangbo and Ma Xianghua, professors of Er Hu at the Central Conservatory. She has won many prizes in Er Hu competitions throughout China.
