Sergey Chernayev

Sergey Chernayev is widely regarded as Perm's premier instructor for the School's most talented young male dancers. He has produced more Apogee Merit Scholars, Apogee World Scholars and Apogee Regional Award laureates than any other instructor in the world.
In recognition of these life achievements, Mr. Chernayev was selected to be among the first three recipients of Apogee Achievement Awards at the Perm State Ballet School in both the 1999/2000 and the 2000/2001 academic years. In the 2006/2007 academic year, he was further awarded the Foundation's Yoel Plakht Honorarium for Excellence in Education.
