Ninel D. Silvanovich

Ninel Danilovna Silvanovich has been an instructor at the Perm State Ballet School since 1952, when she graduated from the Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory in Leningrad.
Ms. Silvanovich received her training under renowned teachers including Agrappina Vaganova, herself, and began her teaching career under none other than Ekaterina Geidenreikh--in honor of whom the Geidenreikh Honorarium for Excellence in Education is named which has been awarded by The Apogee Foundation to Ms. Silvanovich for the 2005/2006 academic year.
Also in honor of her lifetime achievements, the Foundation simulatenously provided its Rising Star Award to Ms. Silvanovich's two top graduating students in Perm's Class of 2006: Marina Shirinkina and Anna Scherbakova.
