Mukhammad Azimov
Tajikistan Award for Excellence in the Performing Arts
Mukhammad Azimov was selected as the first laureate of the Tajikistan Award for Excellence in the Performing Arts during the 2005/2006 academic year by a joint Apogee-Perm State jury, and was reselected for this award during the 2006/2007 academic year.
He is the top student in a special program allowing elite ballet talent from Tajikistan, where this art form has been banned by the government, to study and train at the Perm State Ballet School throughout the academic year.
