Ludmila Sakharova received Apogee Foundation Achievement Awards for Excellence in Education in each of the 1999/2000, 2000/2001 and 2005/2006 academic years, including the inaugural Geidenreikh Honorarium for Excellence in Education in recognition of her three decades of service as Perm State's Artistic Director, carrying on the traditions of Ekaterina Geidenreikh, the School's founder.
