Ludmila S. Litavkina has been one of the most respected instructors of female technique at the Bolshoi Ballet Academy for decades.
In recognition of her lifetime of service assisting gifted performing artists to achieve their potential, the Foundation awarded her with its Achievement Award during the 2001/2002 academic year, and reconfirmed this award in the 2005/2006 academic year, immediately following her retirement.
