Igor V. Uksusnikov

Igor Valentinovich Uksusnikov has been one of the most respected instructors of both male technique and duet at the Bolshoi Ballet Academy for decades, where he also has served as the Academy's Artistic Director.
In recognition of his lifetime of service assisting gifted performing artists to achieve their potential, the Foundation awarded him with its Achievement Award during the 2001/2002 academic year, and reconfirmed this award in the 2005/2006 academic year.
Above are shown two placards mounted in the hallways of the Academy which depict the career of Mr. Uksusnikov and his many world class students.
