Apogee Names 14 Regional Coordinators to Further the Ongoing Globalization of its Programs

The Apogee Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to the development of human excellence in the performing arts, has appointed 14 Regional Coordinators across America, Europe and Asia to assist the Foundation with the ongoing expansion of its relationships and operations around the world.

New York, London and Tokyo, March 12, 2008 (FastPitchPress, Ammado (US), PressBox (UK)) - The Apogee Foundation, a philanthropic organization dedicated to the development of human artistic excellence, today named 14 Regional Coordinators throughout America, Europe and Asia to assist the Foundation in further developing its networks of relationships and in implementing its programs around the world.

From the Foundation's origins a decade ago as a group of international professionals working to revitalize the former Soviet Union's collapsing training systems, Apogee's programs for identifying, developing and promoting extremely gifted emerging artists now span the Northern Hemisphere and serve as a global force fostering human creative potential.

Apogee's newly apponted Regional Coordinators are as follows:

America:

- Los Angeles, California: Camran N. Shafii
- New Orleans, Louisiana: Natasha O. Ramer
- Philadelphia, Pennsylvania: Marjorie Schneider
- New York, New York: Bonnie Singer

Europe:

- London, England: Kenneth Schneider
- Vienna, Austria: Michael A. Fortier
- Stockholm, Sweden: Hugo Ticciati
- Chisinau (Kishinev), Moldova: Simona Gronic
- Odessa, Ukraine: Tatyana A. Markova
- Moscow, Russia: Tatiana N. Dokukina

Asia:

The Foundation expects to name additional Regional Coordinators in the near future to provide even greater reach and expertise for the Foundation's expanding global operations.

Professor Yu Rongfu, International Secretary and former Director of China's Central Conservatory Music School, now also assisting Apogee as its Regional Coordinator in Beijing, said: "It is a pleasure to be a part of Apogee's work and to its enormous possibilities for realizing the potential of China's most gifted young artists.
