Position: Graphic or Web Design Consultant, Intern or Volunteeer Location: Flexible Hours: Flexible
Description
Graphic and web designers are invited to employ their skills in a highly creative and rewarding role with The Apogee Foundation: an international philanthropy dedicated to the development of human excellence in the performance arts. Apogee is seeking one or more designers to assist in the ongoing development of the Foundation's print and electronic presentation and program materials. The goal will be to create dynamic materials with a consistent graphic identity inspiring people to participate in Apogee’s mission of developing human excellence through performance art.
Designers may work remotely on their own time. Some of the tasks we wish to complete in the immediate future include the rendering of an Apogee (phoenix) mascot and the redesign of Apogee's brochure and website, but there also are smaller projects such as the design of items for program participants, etc.
Designers will work directly with the President of the Foundation and other key participants in Apogee's programs around the world. The role can be limited to design alone or also can include creative development work enhancing Apogee's public image that will have a real impact on the future of the Foundation and its beneficiaries around the globe.
Qualifications:
Candidates ideally should have strong and creative web design skills with experience relating to education or the arts.
We value most highly a strong attention to detail, consistent professionalism, timeliness and initiative, a belief in and commitment to the Foundation's mission, and a positive attitude.
How to Apply:
Please send your statement of interest and resume by e-mail addressed to Bonnie Singer, Project Manager for The Apogee Foundation.
